LONG WALK Keelogyboy
The walk begins along a boreen that changes to a track leading up to the top of Keelogyboy Mt. Then we continue along the northern edge of the plateau before heading north-west towards Hangman's Hill. From here, there are great views of Croghan Mt, Glencar Lake and King's Mt beyond .

SOLD OUT MEDIUM WALK Keelogyboy Mt to Lough Sramore SOLD OUT
The walk begins along a minor road, then follows a track up to Keelogyboy Mt with a short,steeper climb to the top.Then we head south along the plateau where there are fine views of Lough Gill and West towards Knocknarea and Ballisodare Bay. Then continuing along the edge, we gradually descend to Lough Sramore, a good spot for lunch. The walk continues along the northern edge before returning to the track.

EASTER SUNDAY 31ST MARCH
WALK FROM GREENWAY DROMAHAIR TO LAKE ISLE OF INNISFREE (JETTY)
The first kilometer or so of the walk is on the Greenway along the former SLNCR railway. We then follow a minor road eventually reaching Creevelea Abbey, a former Franciscan friary dating from the medieval era . The route continues along some minor roads before reaching the jetty, with Innisfree island a short distance away, this island made famous by Yeats' poem The Lake Isle of Innisfree. The walk will then return by the same route back to Dromahair. You'd never know, there might be a little poetry recital if you're lucky!

I understand that if any person participating in this walk, including myself, helps others, for example by advising a route, showing the way, reading a map or SatNav/GPS, helping others over fences, steep or rough terrain, streams or such obstacles, or making suggestions, that does not incur or imply any responsibility on that participant. It is only myself who is responsible for myself in any such interactions.
